What this website asks of you: nothing

These pages are ordinary files. There is no form to fill in, no account to create, no newsletter to join, no login, no database and no server-side application behind them. The website asks you for nothing, and nothing you type anywhere on it is sent to us, because there is nowhere on it to type.

The website’s own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It runs no analytics, advertising, tracking or session-recording service, and loads no third-party script that could do so on its behalf. No profile of you is built, and nothing is sold or shared for anyone else’s purposes. See the Cookie / Analytics Notice for the detail, including what we have and have not yet checked about the hosting and delivery network.

Two things that are recorded, and are not the pages

Two things are genuinely recorded, and it is worth being exact about each:

  • The hosting server keeps a request log. Ordinary web servers do this, and it records the network (IP) address a request came from. That is personal data. The logging is operated by our hosting provider rather than by these pages — where it happens, what we can see of it and for how long is set out below.
  • Contacting us gives us real information — your phone number, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell us. The website is not what collects it; we are what ends up holding it. See below.

What happens when you contact us

We ask you to reach us on WhatsApp, by email or by telephone. Each of those leaves the website entirely, and what happens in them is worth being clear about:

  • WhatsApp. Pressing the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp with our number in it. Nothing is sent until you send it. The message itself travels through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We receive the phone number you message us from, your WhatsApp display name and whatever you choose to write, and it stays in that conversation on our phone.
  • Email. The address on the Contact page is an ordinary link that opens your email program with the address filled in. This website sends no email and receives none — it has no form and no server-side application that could. When you send the message yourself, it arrives in our mailbox with your email address, your name as your email program sends it, and what you wrote.
  • Telephone. We see the number you call from unless you withhold it.

We use what you tell us to answer your question and to decide whether we can help. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else for their own purposes. Please do not send financial details, identity documents or anything confidential in a first message.

How long we keep what you send us

What happens next decides how long we hold it, and the two cases are different:

  • An enquiry that does not become client work. We review it after twelve months without any contact and delete the personal information we no longer need.
  • An enquiry that does become client work. The records then follow the engagement itself, and are kept for as long as that engagement and the retention requirements that apply to it need them.

That review covers the places this information actually sits: the WhatsApp conversations on our phone, the emails in our mailbox and the notes we make of enquiries and calls. Being exact about what it is: it is a review a person carries out, not an automatic deletion and not a statutory period. Nothing on our side deletes itself on a timer, and we would rather describe the practice we follow than publish a promise no software keeps. You can ask us to delete what we hold at any point without waiting for that review — see below.

Who hosts this website, and where

The website is hosted by Hostinger on its Business Web Hosting service. The server that stores and serves these files is in India.

Two things sit alongside that, and it would be misleading to leave either out:

  • Hostinger keeps its backups of our hosting account in Singapore, which is a different country from the server. Those backups are the provider’s copies of the account. What this website itself contains is public material that we rebuild from our own records.
  • Requests reach the site through Hostinger’s content delivery network rather than going straight to that server, which is how the site stays fast. A request therefore reaches a delivery node first. Which countries those nodes are in is not published, so we cannot tell you that a request is handled only in India, and we will not imply it.

What the hosting server records

Delivering a page leaves an ordinary technical trace: the network (IP) address the request came from, the page asked for, the date and time, the result, and the browser’s user-agent string. Web servers keep this by default, for security and fault diagnosis. It happens whether or not the site has a server-side application of its own, and this one has none.

Hostinger operates this logging as part of the hosting service. We can see up to the last 7 days of it through the hosting control panel, and we use it only to keep the site working and secure. That window is what we can see, not how long the data is kept. How long Hostinger retains it in total is not something we have been able to establish, and we will not state a period we cannot stand behind. Hostinger’s own privacy and data-processing terms govern that, and we will help you ask if you need to know.

We do not use these records to build a picture of individual visitors, and we do not combine them with anything you send us.

Fonts and other third-party content

The typefaces used here are delivered from this website’s own address, so viewing a page sends no request to an outside font service. There are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social media components on these pages.

Links to other websites

Where we link to somewhere else - WhatsApp, or a social profile if one is shown - that website is not under our control and handles your information under its own policy, not this one.

Your choices

The website itself holds no record of you, so there is nothing in these pages to correct or delete. What we may hold is whatever you have sent us directly — a WhatsApp conversation, an email, a note of a call.

You can ask what we hold from that contact, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to erp@saiph.in or call one of the numbers above and we will handle the request. If we need to check who you are before acting, we will explain what we need and why. What we can reach in the request log is limited to the recent window the hosting control panel shows, and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

Changes to this policy

If this website starts collecting information itself — a contact form, an analytics service, an embedded third-party component — this page will be updated in the same change that introduces it, before it goes live. The same applies to the one fact above that is still open: if we establish how long Hostinger keeps the request log in total, this page will say so.
